Post Holey Trucks
Holey Trucks

The website leads with the line ‘Holey Truck They Turn!’ and they aren’t lying. These trucks really are the coyote’s cajones. They are perfect for a long distance board… just perfect
.
If you look at the major distance skates over the last couple of years, almost all of the riders used/are using Holeys, They’ve conquered New Zealand and Australia as well as the UK. They are currently carving it up somewhere in the mystical orient with Rob Thompson on the last few thousand miles of his two year round the world trip.

What makes Holeys so good for distance is there ability to handle any situation. At low speeds they are nimble and light, you can weave in and out of traffic with no problem. At a hard push they are stable. However they truly come into their own when gravity takes over. You can carve these trucks real hard, helping to control your speed and keep you rolling safely down the hills.

A combination of great stock bushings, sleek aesthetics and clean gravity cast parts make Holeys the smoothest carve out there.

10/10

I'll agree with that! I was fortunate enough to speak to Gavin a while back about the subject of Holey's involvement in the distance scene. He seems stoked that we've taken them on as the 'truck of choice' for distance riding!

Ah, the guys a legend, the trucks are legendary too.

The ones I'm photographing for him arrived yesterday. Lets just make sure I do them justice.

(I didn't realise there were luminous pink bushings for them either - how rad is that?!)

funnily enough i took my holey trucks apart last night to clean. 3 out of 4 of the bushings were the ones i skated across NZ over a year ago (i lost one!) and after a scrub with a scouring pad thay look like new.

amazing trucks, straight out the box.

And super comfy when you're dragging your board behind you over fields.

Holeys >>>>>> Randal 180s in the comfy-hand-rough-terrain department.
