Re: APRIL FOOL ULTRASKATE 2010 !!!!!!!!! I'm at the moment a bit torn as I had planned to visit Eric in Houston on those dates. I think he's just coming out the other side of an injury so we might not be able to get the the miles down, and apparently Houston just ain't suited for the Ultra setup. They've repaved the trails and they're off limits at night - cop intervention. So we might require a rethink.
However, Eric has asked if I wanted to go to Seattle and skate there instead...but my dates are all messed up.
Finish college on the Friday night and then it's two weeks Easter hols. I wouldn't make it in time for the start, and I'll be buggered if I'm skating round Green Lake by myself. Well that's just it, I don't want to be.
AND I really don't want to disown the UK bunch for what could be an awesome UK event, but I'm also torn about the idea of going to Seattle to do an Ultra on it's home turf. Either way it's all money.
Gnargles.
Can we think of a legitimate place to skate in the UK for this event?
Randomly, I discovered a park near my house that has a big long circuit round it. 85mm wheels would be alright on it. It's pretty wide and open but not quite sure about safety at night. Hoe might be safer.
Brits - seems like the rest of the world has a clue where they're going, where do you think we should go?

Re: APRIL FOOL ULTRASKATE 2010 !!!!!!!!! Actually that park is poo - don't worry! The loop is nice but the surface is dire! I'm going to do a couple of K's on it a day to build up my strength again though.
So...have we got any further with the British side of things?

Re: APRIL FOOL ULTRASKATE 2010 !!!!!!!!! i will happily spend my day at dorney racking up the miles. im yet to own that place with my LBL pusher. really need to see what i can do with it.. im thinking we could just give it another go and if not go camp somewhere. because the chances of having the same secruity guard are low. so maybe bribe this one with some urethane
