Re: John O'Groats - Lands End
I had a phone call from Tom tonight informing that :
a) Ben has been quite horny the entire trip, and is now making daily crude comments, thus putting him off sleeping near him.
b) Ben twisted his ankle whilst walking along some roadworks this evening.
c) Owing to the fact no campsites have any room at the inn for them Ben has taped up his ankle and they are pushing on to do a 53 mile night skate, after today's 43 mile jaunt from 6 miles south of Kendal. They're headed to another mountain board centre, similar to where they spend an idyllic night (in separate beds) under the stars.
d) This is all Ben's idea, says Tom. He just wanted that to be known.

Re: John O'Groats - Lands End
Cheers Laura, will keep you guys informed.lol
Currently, day 16, and Ben finished the day in Monmouth (at a pub). Staying at my parents tonight and tomorrow, allowing Ben to wash himself and his kit.
Hopefully skating into Lands End by mid next week, with Skatefurther support and possibly some bikers...
Car trouble led to the use of 106 no.2 this evening, and will probably result in a wacking great bill for repairs in the next few weeks to get 106 no.1 back running after this trip.
Now, im off to sleep, gotta take Ben back to monmouth tomorrow so the lazy bum can skate some more...

Re: John O'Groats - Lands End
I never usually bother with the site as I have the forum bookmarked and forget that the site is there again after the disappearances. I did check the map which seems to keep getting overlooked.

Re: John O'Groats - Lands End
Hiya - sorry about the map not being updated, I'll get to it today! As you can imagine, I've been pretty busy myself over the last few days and I'm sorry for not getting it sorted. I'll be in contact with the lads later for all the hot gossip and sizzling scandal

Yo, Just wondering if anyone can update. Ive tried ringing ben but went to voicemail. Parents want to know where he is lol. So if anyone can tell me that would be great. OR if anyone gets in contact with him tell him that Joey(his brother) wants to speak to him.. Thanks.

Re: John O'Groats - Lands End
Okay update!
Just got off the phone with Tom, first question asked:
"Laura, how would you like two smelly boys as houseguests tonight?"
...they're leaving Tiverton just now, Ben's skating to Okehampton, then they're hightailing it south to Plymouth and staying with me, Dave and Lizz tonight. We're cooking them a meal, cleaning their stuff and Ben can get his stinking self clean! They'll also have access to broadband here, so we're hoping we can get some major updates on the go.
So they're safe, well, and looking forward to getting here. We also can't wait! STOKE!!!
