oh theres a definite flow between the two. most people are rocking DH/DH type decks. Yeah you will always come across downhills. i hit 55+ in nz. and get well over 30 on my normal skate down to the beach.
as Paul pointed out inthe oroginal post the kahas are light. i know his push race trucks are going to be the lightest. its all interesting.
if you are just going to do DH the board will be set up precisely for that discipline. If you were just doing a push race on the flat your board will be set up for that. Distance (as in multiple days) trips require something that can take everything that is thrown at you.

Thanks for the info guys.I'll give those GoG hangers a look. Right now i'm opting for the kahas because they are more versatile than maguns,so I don't have to change setup every time I go from riding westmount to the mountains up here in Canada.
I've tried maguns before and they feel dead going under 40mph,Kahas are all round just more fun to ride because they are more sketch and i like sketchy ridin'...
